The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, providing us with bikes and giving us recommendations for exploring the area. We can't recommend this place enough! a great value for money.

This hotel is in a good location to access the old town and harbor. The breakfast is delightful, with a different cake served every day, and can be enjoyed on a beautiful terrace with nice views. The rooms are comfortable, with good AC, and some even have a small patio outside to relax on.
All was well, no complaints.

The location was perfect, with just a short walk to the marina and nearby restaurants. the room was nice and clean, but the best part was the view from the window. the bathroom was also fine, with clean facilities and abundant hot water showers. the staff were really helpful and attentive, and the breakfast was amazing with a wide range of food items to choose from.
The air conditioning unit was very noisy which disturbed our sleep most of the nights.

This hotel is in a good location to access the old town and harbour, making it easy to explore Faro's charming streets and waterfront. The hotel is situated in a quiet area, yet it is right in the centre of Faro old town, ensuring a peaceful stay. Additionally, the staff are very attentive and provide excellent service, ensuring that guests feel well taken care of. The breakfast can be served on a really beautiful terrace with nice views, allowing guests to start the day off on a high note.
The only aspect that could be improved is the lack of heating in the rooms. However, this was not a major issue as the hotel is situated in a mild climate, and the rooms are well-insulated to keep guests comfortable.

I had an amazing stay at a charming accommodation in a great location. the staff at Sunlight House were incredibly friendly and spoke excellent English, which was a huge help for us as we aren't linguists. the comfortable bed and ample breakfast were definite highlights, and we also loved the stylish decor. Plus, the hotel's proximity to the Old Town and Marina made exploring the area a breeze. Cons: Cannot find any faults 😊.

We had a nice city trip with some good things about our accommodation. First, we liked the fact that breakfast was included in the room rate, which was a nice way to start each day. Another complementary aspect was the Wi-Fi which was free and had a good connection. the location of the hotel was also a plus, with plenty of things to do and see within walking distance. the room was decently sized and clean, and we appreciated having a balcony where we could sit and relax.
We had some negative experiences as well. Our room was poorly insulated and we could hear a lot of noise from outside, which made it difficult to sleep well.

The breakfast was great, and I liked the fact that they offered oranges and apples. The location of the hotel was right in the heart of the city, making it easy to walk to restaurants and attractions. the staff was quite helpful in suggesting places to go and things to see.
The noise level from the airplanes flying overhead. It was pretty loud and distracting at times.

For a hotel located right in the centre of the historic town, this place really offers value for money. The rooms, though small with almost no storage space, are cleaned to a high standard on a daily basis, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast, which can be served on a really beautiful terrace with nice views, is delicious and made with a nice handmade taste.
The lack of a private sink in the bathroom.
